The University of Sioux Falls is a private university located in Sioux Falls, SD. It is a Christian liberal arts institution with an integrated campus ministry program that provides chapel services, ministry opportunities, mission trips, and on-campus programming. Programs Offered

The University of Sioux Falls offers a wide variety of undergraduate degrees for incoming freshmen, including programs in exercise science, criminal justice, communication studies, psychology, theology and philosophy, and many more, as well as a degree completion program. There are several relevant graduate degree programs as well, including an RN to BSN and an MBA. The University of Sioux Falls also offers a doctoral program in leadership. Distance learning options include online courses that provide personal and professional development.


The University of Sioux Falls has been accredited by the Higher Learning Commission since 1958. It is also a member of North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools. Relevant degree programs at the University of Sioux Falls are accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education, the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education, and the Council on Social Work Education.


High school students who wish to apply to the University of Sioux Falls must submit an official copy of their high school transcript or GED test score, official copies of their ACT or SAT scores, and an online application. Students are also required to have completed at least four years of English and three years each of advanced mathematics and laboratory science, as well as have two years of foreign language and social sciences and one year of fine arts. They also must have at least a 2.8 GPS on a 4.0 scale. Students who do not meet the minimum requirements are encouraged to apply, as some students are granted full admission after successfully completing one full semester.
