Black Hills State University is located in Spearfish, SD. It is the third largest public institution in the state of South Dakota and it offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs, according to the school’s website. To apply to Black Hills State University, incoming freshmen must submit a completed application to the admissions office along with their high school transcript and standardized test scores (ACT or SAT). A minimum GPA of 2.6 is required along with four years of English, three years each of mathematics, social sciences, and laboratory sciences, and one year of fine arts to apply.
