Coastal Carolina University is a public four-year institution established in 1954 as a small liberal arts college. Today the university serves more than 9,000 students at its campus in Conway, S.C. In 2012 theU.S. News & World Report ranked the school 29th on their list of the top public institutions. The part-time MBA program also earned recognition in the publication’s annual rankings.
Coastal Carolina University offers a range of bachelor’s, master’s, and certificate programs for students with varied academic interests. Prospective Coastal Carolina students can submit their application online or via standard mail. The school requires official high school transcripts, SAT or ACT scores, and a $45 application fee. Applicants are encouraged to include letters of recommendation. For the fall 2010 semester, 74% of undergraduate applicants were admitted to the university and 28% of those individuals enrolled.
