Roger Williams University was founded in 1956 as a regional liberal arts college. Today it serves approximately 5,000 undergraduate and graduate students at its campus in Bristol, R.I. The U.S. News & World Report ranked Roger Williams University 55th on its list of the top regional universities in the north. Associate, bachelor’s, master’s, and certificate programs are available on campus, as well as a growing number of online programs.
Students at Roger Williams University can choose from a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs. Available areas of study include accounting, architecture, biotechnology, chemistry, criminal justice, economics, English literature, finance, history, international relations, journalism, marketing, media communication, and psychology. Online learning opportunities are also available for working adults, military families, and other non-traditional students. RWU Online offers programs in criminal justice, public administration, and digital forensics.

Potential Roger Williams University students can find a link to the online application form on the school’s website. This will lead them to the Common Application form. There is a $50 nonrefundable fee due at the time of submission. Students must submit an official copy of their high school transcript, admissions test score report, and letters of recommendation along with their completed application. There are two early decision deadlines: Nov. 1 and Nov. 15. The regular decision deadline is Feb. 1. In 2011, 78% of applicants were admitted at the undergraduate level.
