Keiser University is one of the largest independent career universities in Florida. It has 14 campuses, as well as an online division through its Fort Lauderdale campus. Through its distance learning program, students can earn a variety of degrees, from the certificate to master’s level, in professional areas. The university takes a one-class-at-a-time approach, so instead of juggling multiple courses, students can focus on a single class and excel before moving on to the next. Students can earn certificates, associate, bachelor’s, or graduate degrees through Keiser’s online campus. Programs are designed to include in-demand fields to ensure a degree is relevant upon graduation. Areas of study online include business administration, psychology, education, criminal justice, nursing, accounting, legal studies, and information technology.

Accreditation

Keiser has been regionally accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools since 1991 to award certificates and degrees at the associate, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels.

Admissions

Admissions requirements to Keiser’s online campus vary by programs. For undergraduate programs, all applicants must submit proof of high school graduation, such as a transcript, diploma, or GED certificate. To apply, they must meet with an admission counselor and submit an application. For graduate programs, applicants must submit an application, transcripts showing successful completion of a master’s degree from an accredited college or university, two letters of recommendation, minimum GRE composite score of 1350 or MAT score at the 40th percentile, and a professional resume. GRE/MAT scores may be waived based on prior education.
