Iowa Central College Online
Iowa Central College Online is the distance learning branch of Iowa Central Community College, which has a campus in Fort Dodge. The majority of the programs offered are geared towards training students for immediate work upon graduation, though students may also choose to continue their education and transfer to a four-year institution. New classes start monthly, so students don’t have to wait to begin their education.
Programs Offered
Iowa Central College Online offers associate degrees in six areas: arts (geared towards those students who intend to transfer to a four-year college or university); computer networking technology; criminal justice; health care administration; human services; and logistics and transportation management. All programs are designed to take approximately two years to complete and can be earned completely online.
Accreditation
Iowa Central Community College, which runs Iowa Central College Online, has been regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools since 1974.
Admissions
Iowa Central College Online has an open door admissions policy. Prospective students must fill out an application form and submit an official high school transcript or GED certificate. Official transcripts from all previously attended colleges must also be submitted, if applicable.
