Bryant & Stratton College was founded in 1854 as an institution providing practical workplace education. Today, the college has 18 campuses in 4 states and an Online Division, and serves nearly 14,000 students. While the college’s mission has changed over time, Bryant & Stratton College still focuses on providing a career-focused education that combines classroom instruction with real-world applications. The Online Division allows students to pursue a degree from anywhere in the nation and affords them the flexibility to log in to their classes at a time of day that is the most convenient for them. Bryant & Stratton College Online makes a wide variety of associate, bachelor’s, and certificate programs available to students. Bachelor’s degrees are available in accounting, general management, criminal justice, financial services, and health services administration. Associate degrees are available in many of these areas as well, and also include administrative assisting, human resources specialist, interactive media design, medical administrative assisting, medical reimbursement and coding, networking technology, paralegal studies, and security technology.
Finally, certificate programs are available in areas of business, healthcare, and legal studies to either augment a degree that a student has already earned or to help a student start building skills to launch a career more quickly without earning a degree. Certificate programs include 21st century business, medical office technology, medical reimbursement and coding, certified financial planning, and more.
Bryant & Stratton College is regionally accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. Some of the college’s individual campuses have additional specialized accreditation for specific programs.
Prospective students begin the application process by having a personal interview with an admissions representative and filling out the school’s online application. Bryant & Stratton accepts applications throughout the year for each upcoming semester (fall, spring, summer). Applicants must send in all academic transcripts and also attach a brief essay with their application. To qualify, students must have a high school diploma or its equivalent. Both campus-based and online learners who are accepted to the college will take placement tests to assess their readiness for college-level work. Students are not required to submit standardized test scores.
