Baker College Online

The Baker College system can be traced back to 1888 with the founding of Muskegon College, which later joined with Baker University, which was founded in 1911. Since then, the system has grown and now has campuses in 15 cities throughout Michigan. In 1996, Baker College Online was created, featuring courses and programs that could be taken entirely over the Internet. In October 2010, Automation Alley, the largest technology business association in Michigan, granted Baker College Online the Educational Program of the Year Award. In October 2011, G.I. Jobs magazine awarded Baker College Online with the designation of Military Friendly School. Baker College Online currently has more than 15,000 students enrolled from around the world.

Applications for admission are accepted year-round and are available at all of their campuses, online, and through high school counseling departments. Applications need to be submitted along with proof of high school graduation, or its equivalent, information of any additional education, and an application fee, which will be refunded only if the applicant is not accepted.
