Located in Devils Lake, N.D., Lake Region State College is a public two-year institution. Originally established as Devils Lake Junior College and Business School in 1941, the college became known by its current name in 1999. Lake Region State College is part of the North Dakota University System and currently serves a student body of approximately 2000 area residents. Students enrolled at the college can choose from a number of industry-relevant and liberal arts certificate and associate degree programs depending on their interests.

Lake Region State College has been accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools since 1974.
Lake Region State College’s application is available for completion online. The $35 dollar application fee is payable via check, money order, or over the phone during admissions office business hours. LRSC has an open admissions policy; however, students will still need to submit the proper documentation before they can register for classes. This includes requesting that official high school transcripts or GED score reports be sent to the school. In addition, if students anticipate attending any on-campus classes, they will need to submit updated immunization records.
