Programs Offered

The master’s degrees and certificates offered at Delta State University are available in a variety of study areas, such as education, information technology, community development, social justice, business administration, nursing, and commercial aviation. With a student-to-faculty ratio of 12:1, every online student is guaranteed individualized attention and support for the duration of their time with Delta State University. Though there is no residency requirement for class meetings, instructors may require face-to-face interactions on an arranged basis and for proctored tests, depending on the program. Classes are conducted asynchronously, which means students do not have to be online at the same time as their classmates or professors. Because the schedule of online classes is highly flexible, students are able to balance their time effectively between work, family, and school.

Accreditation

Delta State University has received full accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools as a degree-granting institution and has received specialized accreditation for specific programs by five other accrediting agencies.
